Research Information

In my experience, I have found some incredible facets of emotional, mental, and physical relief/healing that hypnotherapy can provide. I cannot say for certain that hypnotherapy can heal everyone's illnesses, because at this moment it doesn't. But, I must say I have seen profound things happen during a session - even in the most dire circumstances. As a result of these experiences, I have made it a mission to myself to investigate why some people receive great success, while others receive relief from their symptoms, and still others where pain is managed at a level they haven't been able to attain before. These types of research projects are ongoing, and I am excited to continue to figure out what the parameters are in which hypnotherapy can make a difference.

Since hypnotists are working with magnificent power of the subconscious mind, I believe that the lesser successes of a treatment may be due to:
- Is it that the wording construct the hypnotist is using not clear?
- Does it have to do with the level of the person's belief in the benefits they can receive?
- Is it that the mind removes the pain, but the underlying cause remains?
- Is the part of the body that the person wishes to be healed, too damaged to be able to healed?
Perhaps it's a combination or all of the above and more.

Unless there are ways to definitively prove that the illness is removed (scans, MRIs, etc.) then it is difficult for me to know. Most people do not have the funds to have follow-up diagnosis performed. Currently, the only way I know is to contact a client to find out if they have remained symptom free.

Below are a couple of projects that I am extremely interested in and am currently seeking people who are interested in participating in:

Dementia, and Other Cognitive Disabilities
I am interested in working with all types of dementia, and other cognitive disabilities (including even minor memory issues.)
I want to find and work with people who are open to the idea of finding out if hypnosis can help memory function all the way from natural memory decline from aging to advance dementia. While understanding that some people may feel this may be crossing a line regarding the ethics of such a study, I believe that if hypnosis worked to benefit the individual, it would be more than reason to proceed.

*If you have or know someone who might be interested it participating, please contact me using the contact form on this website.

Comatose Patients
Based on my own style of hypnosis and research of performing unconventional ways of communicating with the subconscious, I believe that I could help comatose patients including those with a behavioral diagnosis of coma, vegetative state, or minimally conscious state‑minus. This would be done under a physician's supervision, a loved one, and using a surrogate for communication.

Current research I am doing is outside of the typical hypnotherapy box.

The following three projects that I have begun performing are extremely exciting because so far, the outcomes are exceptionally positive!

* If you would like to take part in any of the following research projects, click on Book a Session and scroll down and select one. These sessions are free and I provide an audio recording if you wish.

1) Talking to Ones who have Passed Over
I believe this research will be emotionally healing to the person who wishes to contact someone who is deceased. This can be a wonderful way for those who wish to have closure and communicate feelings to their loved one, as well as, hear what their love one has to say.
(And now I am wondering if a person can communicate with their pets who have passed on.)
Again, I have had great success in contacting ones who have passed on in two way conversations.
At this point, I am collecting data to prove it.

2) Talking to Angels & Guides
Many of us belief in Angels, Guides, Higher Power, etc.
I have had great success in contacting ones who have our greatest good for us.
At this point, I am collecting data to prove it.

3) Talking to Animals
I believe I have developed a way to communicate with animals. This is exciting because in being able to do this we can help animals and their owners in various ways. For example, we can calm and comfort emotionally damaged animals, change undesirable behaviors, give them physical relief (help them heal? I plan to find out.)
I have had great success in communicating (one way - us to them). At this point, I am collecting data to prove it.
